Youth Mental Health Program Director

Due to career advancement, the Resource Centre for Suicide Prevention (RCSP) is looking for a Youth Director Mental Health Director.

The Director is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, requiring and providing work hour flexibility. The suitable candidate must be available for some weekend and evening hours and for the RCSP office hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

The Director is responsible for oversight, organization, and implementation of the Youth Mental Health Programs of RCSP including the Gryphon Youth Group, the Phoenix Youth Group, and the Community Helpers Program (CHP). This includes weekend workshops for children and youth in grades 2-12, Support and Friendship Nights, educational and skills-building programs in schools, and full weekend retreats.

This position involves establishing and maintaining working partnerships with community stakeholders; coordination and scheduling of content delivery; facilitation of content to youth and youth supporting adults in a variety of settings; ongoing development and revision of module content to ensure relevance and age/audience appropriate material; ongoing collaboration with other RCSP staff and municipal and provincial partners.
